Books

Betty's started getting into selling books after agreeing to hold a book launch for a local writer.

She commented, "No one will sell my books" and we realized that there really were no stores in the Borderland that sold books.
Since then, our book selection has grown to include hundreds of titles. We specialize in:
  •  Indigenous languages and cultures
  • Nature and natural history
  • Picture books and children's stories
  • Board books for little readers
  • Stories of Northwestern Ontario and Minnesota
  • and, Betty's Loves Local Authors and Artists!
If we don't have the title you're looking for, please ask us about placing a Special Order. You can use our Contact form to send this to our in-house Book Guy, Michael.

Teachers, don't forget: we offer a 10% discount on books for educational use. Please be sure to mention this at the till.
We highlight new books in our Book of the Month promotion on Facebook and Instagram. Some of our recent picks:
  • Today is Orange Shirt Day, Phyllis Webstad
  • I am Dreaming of…: Animals of the Native Northwest, Melaney Gleeson-Lyall
